It was terrific to be part of the SCR interest group that met in Sydney recently. Alan Hirahara visiting from the United States presented his experience with Superior Capsular Reconstruction (SCR). Along with several of the other surgeons I spoke on my experience with SCR procedures in particular I discussed my experience using SCR to reinforce large rotator cuff repairs in order to prevent retears which I have found to be very successful.
